Unafraid

A ray of light reveals a crack

Cracks that need tending

Examining

Healing

Fragile souls fractured

Pain inflicted by those

Trusted to love

Meant to protect

Wounds never voiced

Buried deep in darkness

Thought forgotten

On my own these broken places

Remain hidden

Denied

Camoflauged

Wounds never acknowledged
Lurk in shadows
Ready to pounce in retaliation
Passed on to the unsuspecting

God knows they're there
Each and every one
The how
The who

Healing comes with communion

Communion with God

Full of compassion

Full of grace

In this Safe Place confess brokenness
Release and receive His healing

Be made whole

Wholly His

His healing balm brings freedom

Freedom to let go

Free to move on

Free to forgive
